1. DESCRIPTION

MICRO ART AD 45 / 46 is a paint protector based on a 100% zeadhesive acrylic polymer of the new generation - nanotechnology - water-based.

AD 45 / 46 offers excellent exterior resistance without yellowing.

High adhesion and abrasion resistance on various types of substrates such as stone, cementitious substrates, tiles, non-glossy ceramics.

MICRO ART AD 45 provides protection with a satin finish, enhancing the natural appearance of surfaces.

MICRO ART AD 46 is used in accentuating finishes and color and provides a surfaceprotection with a glossy finish.

2. AREA OF USE

MICRO ART AD 45 / 46 is used on indoor and outdoor vertical or horizontal surfaces and provides protection to decorative surfaces increasing durability and facilitating maintenance.

MICRO ART AD 45 / 46 is applied as a surface protector in the MICRO ART system. It can also be used for SCALA decorative flooring, as well as in architectural elements executed with CONCRETE-S STRUCTUREL WHITE and STRUCTUREL BETON-S GREY.

MICRO ART AD 45 / 46 can be used on cementitious substrates or stone elements, both indoors and outdoors.

4. APPLICATION

(a) Preparation of the substrate

The substrates must be dry, dust-free and solvent-free. Disintegrated or unstable materials, efflorescence, as well as any type of material affecting normal adhesion must be removed prior to application.

For greater durability of the solution, the surfaces should be pre-treated with the surface treatment MICRO ART AD 91, which must be dry before MICRO ART AD 45 / 46 is applied.

(b) Application

Before application, the product should be stirred until completely homogenized.

Apply to substrate with a short-hair roller or microfiber roller.

In the application, applied areas should overlap while fresh. The surfaces must dry completely for at least 6 hours.

A minimum of 3 to 4 coats is recommended.

Sand the surface after application and drying of each coat to remove any irregularities. In this case, it is recommended to use a used sandpaper or P400 to obtain a softer texture

without roughness (matting). Vacuum well before applying a new coat.

(c) Maintenance

To ensure that the surface retains its appearance, it is necessary to establish a suitable maintenance plan using pH neutral detergents, wax, type MICRO ART AD 47 and correct cleaning equipment. Any leakage should be removed immediately.

(d) Limitations

The consumption of the MICRO ART AD 45 / 46 must be respected as indicated above to ensure the warranty.

Lower consumption can cause rolling marks, differences in brightness and uneven surfaces.

MICRO ART AD 45 / 46 should not be applied at ambient temperatures, support below 10°C and above 30°C and relative humidity above 70%.

If the temperature is lower than 10°C and relative humidity >70%, curing is slower, and drying time increases.

In dry weather or strong winds, surfaces should be protected outdoors

against the direct action of the wind.

The product should not be applied during rain or very high humidity or when rain is expected within 24 hours of application. These conditions may compromise the normal operation of the products.

(e) Additional opinions

Do not add other products to the MICRO ART AD 45, which should be applied as supplied in the original packaging.

5. PACKAGING AND VALIDITY

Packaging: buckets of 1 and 5 liters.

Shelf life: 12 months, as long as the original packaging and storage conditions remain unchanged, protected from extreme temperatures and humidity.
