DESCRIPTION ADHERE Cor 05 is a g el mortar , whose benef it s a re those of a cement based grouting mortar classifi ed according to the UNE EN 13888 standard as CG2 WA. It is highly resist ant and has strong colour as well as g reat waterproofing power. It is easy to apply and to clean . Besides , the “ stop powder ” ensures better health at work by redu cing the emission of suspended dust in the air by around 95%. It is an antibacterial m ortar and a natural fungicide as well as recyclable and environmentally friendly . It is suitabl e for internal and external use , swimming pools , “Gresitte” glass mosaic . It has very low emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOC ’ s). Its special composition enables to obtain a greater yield of the product, consuming less kg per m² of application . 2. FIELD OF USE Mortar for grouting joints from 0 to 5 mm thickness , with low water absorption and smooth finish. Suitable for sealing all types of ceramic tiles or ornamental stone . 3. TECHNICAL DATA SHEET ADHERE Cor 05 GROUTING MORTAR FOR JOINTS BETWEEN 0 - 5mm d) Restri ction s • Do not apply when rain is expected . • Do not apply in temperature s below 5 ° C o r above 30 ° C. • In extreme weather conditions (high winds or high temperatures), drying is faster than normal caus ing redu ction in open ap plica tion time . • With high temperature s, unfavourable wind conditions or application on very absorbent support , it is advisable to moisten the surface and wait until this layer of water disappe ars before applying the product . • Grouting on su rfaces that are still wet may caus e undesirable variations in the joints. • Clean the joint laid us ing a moistened sponge in order to hy drat e . • Reto uch the produ ct several times with a sp a tula for good penetra tion . • It should not be used in j oint s exce eding 5 mm in width on floors or walls where specific chemical resistance and zero water absorption are required . • Protect the product from direct rain and sunlight for at least 12 hours after application . • Use within 1 year of the packaging date. Store the product in its original packaging in a dry, covered place, protected from moisture . e) Complementar y Advices → The mixing water must be free of any impurities (clays, organic matter, etc.) and drinking water should be preferably used ; → No mortar that has started its open time should be applied. Do not soften mortars by adding water after preparation ; → Do not add any other products to the mortar. ADHERE Cor 05 s hould be applied as it is shown in its original packaging . 5. PACKAGING AND VALIDITY Packaging 5 kg plastic bags in 4 uni t boxes (4 x 5 kg). Pal let s of 20 boxes . Valid ity 24 months provided the conditions of the original packaging remain unaltered and in good storage conditions, protected from extreme temperature and humidity .

A P PLICA TION a) Substrate preparation The pieces and their joi nts to be filled should be dry and free of any type of debris. A fter laying a floor or coating , wait at least 24 ho urs before a pplying ADHERE Cor 05 mortar . In cas e of porous pieces , ADHERE Cor 05 mortar should be previously tested to check for any spots on the conta ct surface . b) Mixture preparation ADHERE Cor 05 mortar should be mixed with 1,1 litres to 1,2 litres of water (23 - 24%), preferably potable, per 5 kg package. The powder should be mi xed with an electric mixer, until obtaining consistent, creamy and homogeneous in colour paste. The water quantity and the mixing process should be strictly maintained throughout the execution of the work, otherwise colour variations may occur in the final product. ADHERE Cor 05 mortar is ap pli ed with a rubber trowel , laying the product diagonal ly towards the pieces . Press strongly the trowel so as to completely fill the joint and remove the surplus. The surplus product should be cleaned with a cleaning t rowel or a slightly moistened sponge , always using clean water .
