What glue comb do I need?
The choice of a glue comb depends on a number of factors:
- State of the ground (flat or uneven)
- The size of the tile
- Type of tile: wall or floor
The rule of thumb here is: the rougher the surface and the larger the tile: the larger the tooth.

Glue comb for wall tiles
For wall tiles of 15x15cm to 20x25cm, a 6mm glue comb is recommended. For larger wall tiles it is better to use an 8mm glue comb. For wall tiles from size 30x60cm it is best to use a 10mm glue comb.
Glue comb for floor tiles and natural stone
For floor tiles up to 50cm, we recommend using a 10mm glue comb.
Single or double-sided tile bonding?
In most cases, single bonding is sufficient. This means that only the substrate is coated with adhesive on which the tiles are placed.
However, if the tiles are exposed to increased stresses due to heavy traffic or large temperature differences, then double bonding is absolutely necessary. Here, apply an adhesive layer with the adhesive jug to both the substrate and the underside of the tile and bond wet-on-wet.
