The cork that Biomat supplies in the MD Façade Cork Board system ensures natural and sustainable insulation. The cork is harvested from the cork oak every 9 years and is a breathable material. It is free of chemicals, synthetic resins or carcinogenic materials and contributes to a healthy environment in our homes.
The panels are glued with the specially adapted lijmmortel Isovit E-Cork MD that consists of natural hydraulic lime and cork aggregates, and ensures perfect compatibility and correct fixing of the cork panels.
If you want a thicker insulation layer, we recommend combining the vision cork panels with a sublayer of isolatieplaten van kurk met een lagere dichtheid. This saves costs for both cork and bonding.
