The cork provided by Biomat in the MD Façade Cork Board system provides natural and durable insulation, the cork is extracted from the cork oak tree every 9 years, and is a breathable material. Free of chemicals, synthetic resins or carcinogenic materials, contributing to a healthy environment in our homes.
Bonding of the sheets is done with the specially adapted adhesive mortar Isovit E-Cork MD, which is composed of natural hydraulic lime and cork aggregates, and ensures the perfect compatibility and correct fixing of the cork sheets.
If you want a thicker insulation layer, we recommend combining the vision cork boards with an underlayment made of lower density cork insulation boards. This saves in the cost of both cork and bonding.
